One Clever Tooth Fairy

We love the Tooth Fairy. It seems there are many different Fairy traditions all over the world. In some countries kids will throw their lower teeth on the roof and their upper teeth on the ground to encourage the new permanent teeth to grow in that direction. Other cultures will bury their teeth near a tree hoping that their new teeth will grown in with strong roots like the tree.

In our area we typically put our tooth in a special place and the fairy will come and bring us a treasure (usually money). A young patient shared her treasures from the tooth fairy. She receives a dollar folded into wonderful origami shapes for each tooth that she has lost.
